Crane Services:
We don't just offer a crane service, we offer a complete line of crane services, which includes; crane modifications, repairs, assembly, dismantling, removal and salvage. We offer this complete line because it helps to minimize cost and it maximizes safety!
Crane Modifications and Repairs: we have expertise in replacing trolley and festoon rails, wire ropes, mechanical refurbishing, structural repairs, flame strengthening and electrical controls.
Crane Assembly: we have successfully assembled over 75 new container and shipyard cranes and loaders.
Crane Dismantling: we offer two ways of dismantling; using the traditional method of taking apart piece by piece or by toppling in a controlled explosion.
Crane Equipment:
With any crane service comes crane equipment and GRT can provide that too.
250 Ton Floating Crane: if your job is in or around water, then we have the crane to help you out. Our 250 Ton Floating Crane (The Big Johnson) can be used for loading and unloading specialized cargo and for marine salvage operations. The crane is mounted on a 164' X 55' X 12' steel barge and has a four point mooring system.
Crane Raising Lifting Frame: designed to raise the upper assemblies of container cranes weighing as much as 1800-tons 35 feet (10.7 meters).
