Tilt Platform Testing

Global Rigging and Transport (GRT) provides controlled tilt platform testing for heavy equipment, including forklift and reach stacker applications, to evaluate stability, machine behaviour, and operational performance under inclined conditions. GRT can provide a certification service to ANSI B56.6 or any local applicable codes.

Using a purpose-built steel tilt platform and engineered rigging arrangement, GRT can simulate progressive tilt conditions in a controlled environment. This allows clients to observe equipment response, balance, wheel loading, and operating behaviour while the machine is positioned in a realistic working configuration.

Testing can be completed with the machine in operating condition and, where required, with attachments or project-specific test parameters. The system can be adapted to suit different equipment types and sizes, giving clients a practical method of assessing machine performance under controlled conditions. GRT manages the lift support, rigging, platform setup, and controlled progression of the test, providing a practical and efficient solution for clients requiring equipment verification, engineering review, and documented test support. Backed by in-house rigging expertise, heavy lift capability, and field-based problem solving, GRT delivers tilt testing programmes that are structured, adaptable, and suited to demanding industrial and port equipment applications.
